From a young age, Nikk had a heightened appreciation for all things creative. Native to Santa Fe, New Mexico, he was raised by his grandmother who had an affinity for peculiar things. It was inevitable that her curiosity would rub off on him.
Little did he know that that curiosity would follow him into adulthood and essentially become the inspiration for his career.
MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE
Practical Peculiarities is a platform where food meets art, magic meets reality, and practicality meet peculiarity. On social media, Nikk’s food art and DIY videos have reached international audiences, received recognition from the press and even gained the attention of Chef Gordon Ramsay himself.
This allowed him to collaborate with many brands, appear on television (Killer Cakes, Craftopia, The Kelly Clarkson Show), and even get the opportunity to create his own cookbook! (Peculiar Baking: A Practical Guide to Strange Confections.)

Nikk a judge on the hit TV special Killer Cakes on Prime Video. He is also a proud winner of “Craftopia” Nikk is also the author of the best selling cookbook Peculiar Baking.
Nikk continues to enchant his audience with his peculiar cakes, pies, and DIY’s. He often reminds people that Peculiarities exist all year long for "Ghosts aren't Seasonal!"
